Local Church Renewal Events
Aldersgate Renewal Ministries does ministry at national Aldersgate conferences and around the world, but they are willing to come and minister right in your own church through trained team members they have all over the country. If you don’t see something below that meets your need contact us and we will try to custom-design something for you.
This team-led local church renewal event has a 50 year history of enabling church members to make new or re-newed commitments to Jesus Christ, stirring up a desire for small groups and prayer ministries and encouraging people to share their faith with others.
If your church has already had a Lay Witness Mission the Venture was specifically designed as a follow-up [It has sometimes been called Lay Witness II]. It’s emphasis shifts to lead people into deeper discipleship and service.
Life in the Spirit Seminar (LISS)
Learn what the Bible has to say about the Holy Spirit and experience the Holy Spirit’s moving in your life and the life of your church. This seminar has been done in local churches, districts, retreats, and international settings since 1989 as a one day, weekend or custom-designed event.
Lord, Teach Us to Pray (LTUTP)

ARMed for Renewal Brochure“We have seen ARM as a partner in discipleship and ministry to our church for many years. Because of the spectrum of ministries available, we have been able to offer a wide variety of opportunities for the people at various stages in their walk with Christ to grow and serve. People have made very basic steps through the Lay Witness Mission and Lord, Teach us to Pray weekends; they have grown in their personal lives and into active ministries through the Life in the Spirit Seminars; and some have even gone on to serve in passing those ministries on by serving on teams with ARM ministering in other local churches and even on the mission field. An annual retreat weekend sponsored by an ARM Regional affiliate group is a highlight in the spiritual lives of many in our congregation.
There are only a few people who would not include some ministry of ARM in one way or another in a list of what ministries have been influential in their decision to become a Christian or their growth as a Christian. As a pastor, I especially appreciate the tools they make available in preparation for the events so that having a fruitful event does not depend on my dropping all of my regular routines.”
