church_photoAldersgate Renewal Ministries has a passion to partner with the local Church.  ARM's goal is to provide opportunities for people to appear before God in an atmosphere of special celebration where their lives can be transformed.

Instead of random or sporadic “spiritual emphasis” events, ARM offers a long term strategy to facilitate ongoing transformation. This partnership encourages individuals and their churches to be filled, gifted, empowered and led by the Holy Spirit in ministry to the world. This strategy can be tailored for the unique needs of your church, and can included the following:

  • Lay Witness Mission - A team-led weekend renewal event designed to lead people to a new or renewed commitment to Jesus Christ.
  • Life In The Spirit Seminar - A team-led weekend renewal event designed to teach participants how the Holy Spirit ministers in and through the life of the believer.

Going to Aldersgate 2013 Conference for Lay Speaker Training: The conference is also designed to equip people of all ages (youth, young adults, and adults) to live in the power of the Holy Spirit.  Equipping Sessions will examine the person and work of the Holy Spirit and explore how the Holy Spirit equips us to be the hands and feet of Jesus ministering to a world that needs the hope of the Gospel.  New option this year; Lay Speaker training approved by GBOD - July 10-14, 2013 in Lexington, KY.

Come to The Gate 2013 Youth Conference and Mini-Gates: This Conference is on a mission to impact students and reinforce their church youth groups by exposing them to national speakers and relevant equipping session leaders. Students will be challenged, equipped and ready to lead their generation to Christ.  July 10-14, 2012 in Lexington, KY.  Mini-Gates are a snapshot of the conference in your hometown on a weekend.

The Methodist School of Supernatural Ministry: Session 2 "Hearing God and Prophecy" October 2013 in Hopwood, PA at Jumonville Premier Christian Retreat Center.  More information coming soon!

The Methodist School of Supernatural Ministry: Session 6 February 2014 at the Aldersgate Renewal Center in Goodlettsville, TN. Four days to train clergy and lay people from a Methodist perspective to do supernatural ministry.

A Day Apart Women’s Ministry Event "Where are you going?"  February 22-23, 2013 at the Aldersgate Renewal Center in Goodlettsville, TN.  Come for a day of worship, teaching, and fellowship with other women that are seeking communion with God.

The Methodist School For Supernatural Ministry: DVD Set 1
This DVD resource is for both lay and clergy! Session One: The Basics was held at our center in Goodlettsville, TN October 20-23, 2010.  We covered such topics as:  The Supernatural History of Methodism, Contemporary Manifestations of the Holy Spirit, Intimacy with God, Being Filled with the Spirit, and Impartation.

Small Group Leader Training by Bishop Dick Wills - Small groups are essential for a thriving church!  Small fellowship groups are crucial to your church's health by contributing to members’ spiritual growth.  Healthy church ministry includes developing relationships that result in the spiritual well-being of members while growing them toward maturity and into a tangible expression of the Body of Christ.  Join Bishop Dick Wills as he shares practical insights from his experience in recruiting and training Wesley fellowship group leaders at the local church level.  This DVD is designed for churches who are seeking to train existing or potential leaders of small groups.  Viewers can expect to learn how to grow churches larger by growing them smaller.

Concerts of Prayer of the Church Year - This new resource contains four concerts of prayer that will help any church learn how to celebrate Advent, Lent, Pentecost, and Kingdomtide.  Liturgy, signs for prayer stations, leader's guide all included.   We have created two options for the same low price.  The first option is an easy to use format will allow you to download all the information onto your computer.  Liturgies are in Word format.  The booklet gives you a small printout of all four of the concerts of prayer on the CD.  The second option are for people who prefer the hard copy of the liturgies.  The manual contains the same information as the CD in a different format.  You can also make copies of these liturgies for your use during Advent, Lent, Pentecost and Kingdomtide.

Concerts of Prayer - The ARM Concert of Prayer has two formats for churches to use: Notebook or CD.  This expanding resource is a compilation of concerts of prayer used at Aldersgate Conferences and contains a wide variety of themes and styles of prayer. Churches can introduce concerts of prayer during Lent, during retreat settings, or other times when an emphasis on prayer is desired.  Congregations desiring to lead concerts of prayer will find the new CD format especially helpful.  All of the material is in Word format.  When downloaded it can easily be transferred to handouts for participants or used in PowerPoint presentations.

Before Your Throne - “Before Your Throne” is a worship experience of 11 new songs recorded live.  Reflecting on what he is hoping that God will do with “Before Your Throne,” composer Jonathan Dow commented, “Many of the songs were birthed out of the reality that the Scriptures often equip us with the vocabulary we lack when trying to express our hearts to God in the midst of difficulty, pain and challenge.  I pray that these songs would give voice to the sometimes inexpressible heartcry of those who are journeying through life’s inexplicable circumstances.”

Shepherding Renewal book by Rev. Dr. Frank Billman - Perhaps you have had one of the Aldersgate Renewal Ministries (ARM) local church renewal events at your church.  Perhaps you and/or some people from your church have attended the national Aldersgate conference, the Methodist School for Supernatural Ministry, or some other ARM event.  How do you evaluate what happened during the event  and what may be happening now in your church?  What steps should be taken next?  If issues have arisen, how are you going to deal with them? This resource is designed to help clergy, congregational shepherds, address these kinds of questions after the event.

Pathways to a Praying Church by Margie Burger - This book is designed to encourage God’s people to pray together corporately. The study material challenges and encourages churches to become houses of prayer and equips people with the tools for a consistent, powerful prayer life. Recognizing that we learn by hearing and doing, the material was written to include a variety of activities that are practical applications for the teachings on prayer. Pathways to a Praying Church includes extensive Scripture references and personal testimony designed to encourage believers to grow in prayer together.
