Sessions are held at the Aldersgate Renewal Center, 121 East Ave., Goodlettsville, TN.

Registration is only $20 and includes lunch. 

We want to invite you to come and experience this event that we believe will equip you and your congregation to share their faith in a way that is comfortable for them. When it comes to faith sharing, there isn't a "one size fits all."  Everyone's style is different and that is the reason that LWM allows every person to share their faith journey in their own way. This enables them to effectively share their story of God's love and work in their own lives with people they already know. And that is EVANGELISM!

Special Session:  Friday, March 30th, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Lay Speaker Re-Certification and Refresher Course:  The TN Conference Evangelism Team hasve been given permission by the Conference Director of Lay Speaking Ministries to offer this training event for current Certified Lay Speakers as a re-certification class and as a refresher course for Local Church Lay Speakers. In order for you to receive credit, you must attend the special session on Friday evening. There is no additional registration cost to participate in this portion of the training; however you will need to purchase and read the book FAITH SHARING ($15) by H. Eddie Fox and George E. Morris and finish the pre- class assignments, which will be sent to you upon receipt of your registration.

Saturday, March 31st from 9:00 am - 5:30 pm: During this training, participants will be familiarized with the LWM schedule and content including opportunities to role - play leadership of related small group meetings and Sunday school classes.  They will also be offered some suggestions for witnessing and given an opportunity to think through, write out and practice sharing their own witness.  Another benefit is that Clergy who attend can get a first-hand idea of what a LWM would be like for their congregation.  Our time together will consist of worship, small group activites, and lunch. 

Registration deadline is March 28th, earlier if you are participating in the Lay Speaker Continuing Education session.
