Aldersgate Renewal Ministries invites you and your family to Go Deeper as we celebrate the 30^th Aldersgate Conference.  Hosted in downtown Columbus , Ohio , Aldersgate ’08 will take place at the Hyatt Regency July 2-6, 2008.  The conference is built to help children, youth, young adults and adults grow in their walk with God and be strengthened and equipped to make a lasting difference in the lives of others.

Columbus provides a great downtown hotel rate of $89 plus tax which includes parking. Pre-Conference runs from 7pm Wednesday, July 2 through 4pm Thursday, July 3 and focuses on prayer and preparation for the Aldersgate Conference.  The cost is $46 for adults and $36 for youth and children.  The Aldersgate ’08 Conference runs from 7pm Thursday, July 3 through noon Sunday, July 6.  The cost is $94 per adult, $180 for a married couple and $62 for youth and children.  For clergy and early bird discount information, please register on-line or download the PDF registration form.

Along with diverse local restaurants within walking distance, there is a food court right within the facility!   Meetings will be held in the hotel and in the Convention Center attached to the hotel.   Aldersgate ’08 will be a one-stop opportunity for a life-changing experience with God!

The major thoroughfares into downtown Columbus near the Hyatt Regency and the Greater Columbus Convention Center will be open and ample parking will be available at both the Hyatt Regency and the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Columbus also provides multiple low-fare airline options into the Columbus Airport (CMH).  All the more reason to bring a group! 

This year, Aldersgate Pre-Conference Prayer and Worship will begin Wednesday evening, July 2 at 7 pm, allowing you to have the full day to travel to this family friendly city.  After the Aldersgate ’08 opening Worship Celebration Thursday evening, you will be able to take a short walk and see what is billed as the largest fireworks display in the midwest called, “Red, White and Boom” – a fun way to end your evening with a bang!

The conference will be designed around the theme Go Deeper: Redigging the Ancient Wells.  Based on Isaac’s experience of reopening stopped up wells, Aldersgate will call us to clear the clutter and dig deeper into our relationship with Jesus as the source of the living water of the Holy Spirit.  We are praying that this life sustaining water overflows into the lives of others!  We will also explore what it means to redig the wells of our Wesleyan heritage to rediscover what it means to be a people who are filled, gifted, empowered and led by the Holy Spirit in ministry to the world.
